beJoy – Indie Game Studio
beJoy is a very, very, very (did I mention very?) small indie game studio. Actually beJoy is a one man studio, founded and operated by Barry Kostjens. Why the name beJoy you ask? Well, check my portrait photo right below, it was named after my beautiful daughter ‘Joy Lois’. For most of my projects I work with an external artist. Since 2009 this is Ricardo de Zoete from RZDesign. Together we made some really awesome (off course ) games like Push Panic and Hyper Breaker Turbo.
Who are we?
Barry Kostjens is an iOS Application and Game Developer from the Netherlands. Working on business projects for small and big companies during daytime. Game development happens in the evening and weekend hours. Hyper Breaker Turbo is his third game, after iGangster (2009) and Push Panic (2010).

The Art Guy!
Ricardo de Zoete is an artist who has started his career as a illustrator, creating different mascots for small Dutch companies. He’s graduated as a Animation & Games designer. He was also working as a Visual Designer at his freelance company called RZDESIGN.
After all that he decided to fully submerge into creating games himself. His first game was Push Panic! which which was a collaboration with Barry Kostjens, released on iOS and has been downloaded over 2 million copies since then.
